west side story

Being obsessed with the 60's, 70's and 80's makes me adore most of the collections that have this kind of vibe. Therefore I almost died over Saint Laurent's latest collection that took place in Paris the past September. This made me realise I'll never get over the hippy style and infuenced me to try some different styling ideas, adding a few western elements that many of you might not be fans of.
This outfit also reminds me the lady from the woman in black movie, but that's another story...

sailor girl

A casual outfit for a stroll around the town for some shopping and lunch with family. Dressed up as a sailor girl wearing the gorgeous isabel marant sailors jacket, paired with my grandpas nautica sweater, a simple pair of jeans and my latest addiction, these mcqueen beauties. Mirrored sunglasses were required for a touch of glam onto my outfit. I'm very sorry for the bad hair day, I wasn't very satisfied with my hair change resulting a visit to the hair salon a couple of hours later. I think they're better now!
Happy Monday everyone!

the basics

topshop knitted jumper | zara faux leather shorts (similar here and here) | vintage belt | zara shoes | vintage necklace | ralph lauren sunglasses

I sticked to the basics for a busy day all around Athens on Friday in order to be comfortable. I know these zara beauties doesn't seem so comfortable, but they definitely are.
Have a nice day loves!

black n white

zara faux fur (similar here) | topshop striped shirt | h&m striped jeans (similar here and here) | alexander Mcqueen pumps | klaidra necklace

I've been wanting to try this whole double striped thing since I first saw the Balmain and Marc Jacobs collections back in September. It's something I used to find it totally crazy and impossible to wear out and about, but I now find it so beautiful and special. I still have so many combinations to show you with my stripy stuff.

the leather effect

zara blazer | leather bustier thnx to intimissimi | vintage leather pants | topshop boots | paul smith sunglasses | necklace thnx to klaidra | ysl ring | h&m ring

I believe that whoever likes leather, they get obsessed with it eventually. We all start our leather experience with the classic leather jacket, then a skirt, pants, dresses, tops and we end up with a total leather look. I was lucky enough intimissimi offered me this gorgeous with the-flawless-fit bustier that matched perfectly my vintage leather pants. The final touch was added by this beautiful and original necklace by Klaidra.

androgyne

zara mens hat | vintage custom made coat of chanel fabric | grandpas levis denim shirt | topshop jeans | topshop boots | vintage gloves | paul smith sunglasses

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts the past few days. You see, some family health issues kept me away from the blogosphere, but I'm back now. Here's an outfit post wearing my favourite coat, paired with my grandpas denim shirt, my new boots and jeans from topshop and completed the androgyne look with a mens zara hat.

On a windy day i chose to wear one of the latest vintage treasures I discovered on my grandmas closet the other day. It's not my favourite one of all but it's a nice garment and different than the jeans and shorts that I normally wear.
